  • World Haemochromatosis Awareness Week, 1-7th June 2020

    The Irish Haemochromatosis Association launches an Awareness Campaign for World Haemochromatosis Awareness Week, 1-7th June, 2020. 1 in 5 Irish people carry the Haemochromatosis gene and it is Ireland's most common genetic condition. Ireland has the highest rates of the disorder in the world. Early diagnosis is vital to save lives, as lack of treatment can lead to premature death.
